Premier and Optimum pay for eligible major components such as the compressor, motors, kick starters, electrical switches and circuit boards. Each plan is a 12-month membership, and the monthly price is the yearly fee split into 12 payments. Coverage limits and exclusions apply.
What a tune-up handles in Broward County
Air conditioners here run most of the year in wet, salty air, so the visit spends its time on water, dirty coils and long run times.
Humidity and the drain line
Humid air keeps the indoor coil wet for months at a time. That water leaves through a PVC drain line, and a warm, damp line is where algae and slime build up until the pan overflows or the float switch shuts the system off. The tune-up flushes and vacuums the line, checks the flow and drops a 12-month time-release treatment into the drain pan.
Salt air near the coast
In Hollywood, Dania Beach, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Pompano Beach, Hillsboro Beach and Deerfield Beach, salt spray settles on the outdoor coil and its wiring. Farther west, in Davie, Weston and Southwest Ranches, it is more often grass clippings and pollen. The tune-up cleans the condenser coil with a disinfectant, straightens bent fins, trims plants back from the unit and tightens the electrical connections.
Storm season and long run times
Hurricane season lands in the middle of the hardest cooling months. The tune-up tests the kick starter, checks refrigerant pressures and the temperature split, reseals where the lines pass through the wall and listens for noise and vibration. You get a digital report with photos of each component before the storms arrive.

Abraham AC prices repairs by level, and you approve the full price before any work starts. Here is one common fix, replacing the indoor kick starter (the capacitor), a level 2 repair:

On that one visit a Comfort Club member keeps $123. A year of Comfort Club dues at the 1-tune-up price is $203.88, less than the $275 a non-member pays for the Premier Tune-Up it includes.

Should I pick 1 or 2 tune-ups a year?
You choose 1 or 2 tune-ups a year for each system when you enroll, on any plan, and the second visit doubles the monthly price. Homes near the ocean, homes with pets and systems that run most of the day are common reasons to choose 2.
What does the tune-up do about a clogged AC drain line?
Each tune-up flushes and vacuums the condensate drain line, checks that water flows and adds a 12-month time-release treatment to the drain pan. If the line backs up between visits, members book with priority scheduling and pay member pricing for the repair.
Is the plan month to month?
